Daša Šašić Šilović is Chair, International Board, CEE Network Gender for Gender Issues (Budapest, Zagreb); member Europe 2030 and Board of European Partners for the Environment; member NATO Civil Society Advisory Panel on Women, Peace and Security. She worked at UNDP New York, among others, for more than a decade as Senior Policy Advisor on aid effectiveness and development cooperation. Formerly, member of the Environment and Social Advisory Council, EBRD (London), Associate Partner consulting group Optimis (Switzerland), UN correspondent/foreign affairs commentator for Canadian/US public TV programme “World Affairs Television”, adjunct professor at the Columbia University New York/SIPA, external associate in New York at the Graduate Center for Urban Studies, City University of NY and at the International Peace Institute. In 2005 she published a memoir on diplomatic life and politics through food and the Balkan wars – “Diplomatska kuhinja”.
